I can see the MGM Grand from my back garden but have no interest in this circus.

Floyds interview will last longer than the fight

Mayweathers glass hands won't knock out Conor, if and obviously it's a big if, conor can catch him he'll put floyd on his arse.

The build up will be excellent

I can't stand mayweather but mcgregor will struggle to lay a proper punch on him. the skill levels between the two are world's away

I don't think McGregor would even win a British boxing title

Miike

The best of a generation have struggled to lay a hand on the bloke, those trained to do so and at the top of their game

Mcgregor will last as long as Mayweather wants him to, if he wants a rematch, then a while, if not, he is toast

Re: Mayweather v McGregor
In the year that top level boxing finally regained its pride after the avoidance and greed shown by previous so called greats like Mayweather. This so called 'fight' is nothing more than a circus act exhibition and a ridiculous side show to the great fights that have happened and are scheduled to happen in 2017. It should not go on Mayweathers record, and I personally will not be paying a penny to watch it.

Re: Mayweather v McGregor
It'll give the Paddies something to get excited about until about 30 seconds into the fight, when they realise Mcgregor won't get near him.

Canelo couldn't lay a punch on him ffs. As big a cunt that he is, he's the best defensive fighter that's ever lived.

What Deano said... its a bigger farce than Rocky v Thunderlips...

If McGregor manages to land more than 3 punches he'll have had a result

Re: Mayweather v McGregor
More interesting would be for Mayweather to go up to middleweight and fight GGG. He wont tho cos that would be a huge risk to him.

He is only interested in easy money

Eerie Descent 11:26 Thu Jun 15
Re: Mayweather v McGregor
Lato, you could ask the same question of GGG, and why he has stayed at Middleweight and not moved up to fight proper top class fighters? It would be less of a weight step for him.

Mayweather has beaten everyone in and around his weight class, dislike the man, but you cannot question his greatness.

Re: Mayweather v McGregor
the build-up and atmosphere will be amazing.

the actual fight will be a joke, FMJ will jab and move and spoil up close to a wide points win. McGregor cant box - look at his stance.

sad day for boxing, just as the sport is really flourishing with the best fighters actaully fighting each other.

He's moved up a weight to fight Canelo?

The things you learn.

Re: Mayweather v McGregor
This exhibition fight is straight out of a Rocky movie. A joke.

That said, I hope Mayweather splits that Irish gobshite's nose all over his face. Can't stand the cunt.

Re: Mayweather v McGregor
You were inferring that he'd avoided proper class fighters.

Anyway, the words of Steve Bunce:

Pull your neck in, fool. He's hopeless as a boxer, chin in the air, feet crossing, falling over every shot. Adios.

Eerie Descent 11:46 Thu Jun 15
Re: Mayweather v McGregor
No, trying reading more. It was in response to someone saying Floyd has ‘avoided’ really testing himself because he hasn’t moved up to Middle to fight Golovkin. Floyd fought proper, truly world class fighters for a decade, at different weights, and beat them all, including Canelo. My point in response to that, is Golovkin has not really fought anyone truly great (Jacobs being the best, and that was as close as it gets) and if anyone should’ve moved up to test himself, it’s him.

Ergo, you cannot question Mayweather’s record, and cannot compare Golovkin’s record to his. Only an idiot would do that.
